BIM and digital construction software are the future. Since the beginning of 2021, the implementation of construction projects using the BIM method has been mandatory – this is the result of a phased plan presented by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) in 2015. According to the decision, since December 30, 2020, public contracts will only be awarded to companies that actively practice the BIM method in the implementation phase.
