LOCATE TASKS AND DEFECTS DIRECTLY IN THE CONSTRUCTION PLAN
Use the digital construction plan to show exactly where the problem is located. POIs make it easier for team members to find and correct construction defects or other issues. The POIs are synchronized for each user in real time via the cloud and populated with all other information – defect management couldn’t be quicker or easier!

Not every construction site offers a fast and stable internet connection. In the unlikely event that there is no internet connection, you have already taken precautions – projects and all information can be synchronized in the mobile construction app for offline operation.
Recording of construction defects
Even if things have to be done quickly during the site inspection – the digital construction diary from KENEXOS® makes it possible to record any construction defects quickly and easily. Whether visible cracks in the wall or inconspicuous defects, thanks to the versatile description options, you can provide precise and easy-to-understand information at any time, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the rectification of defects. Simply take a photo of the detected defect using your smartphone or tablet and locate it directly in the digital construction plan. Photos or videos can then be attached to the marked location and used for clarification. Use comments or voice messages to point out additional information and avoid misunderstandings in the team right from the start!
Direct commissioning of defect rectification
Once all the information has been collected and located on the digital construction plan, the processing of the defects must be initiated. To do this, simply create corresponding tickets via the internal, project-based ticket system. References to the markings on the construction plan can also be created in the ticket so that the employee carrying out the work knows immediately what needs to be done.
Tickets can be assigned either to employees or subcontractors via direct user assignment. Your subcontractors can also easily receive and process tasks in KENEXOS® thanks to an effective rights and roles concept.
Verification of the rectification of defects with direct completion of the processes
If the work to rectify the construction defects is being carried out, you have an up-to-date overview at all times. Generatable daily reports allow your team to keep you up to date on all developments. In this way, you are provided with project-relevant information even when you are not in the office or directly on the construction site. KENEXOS® generates the daily reports as PDF files so that they can be read and processed universally.
Once the rectification of defects has been completed, the tickets are marked as closed and can either be closed or assigned to the project manager. Thanks to the 100% digitized workflow, traceability is ensured long after the project has been completed, so that you are well protected even in the event of a legal dispute.
