Kreutzpointner Group launches digitized construction project with KENEXOS®

The comprehensive general refurbishment of the Munich branch of the Kreutzpointner Group includes numerous renovations to the building structure as well as technical extensions and modernizations – with KENEXOS® as the central hub for planning, coordination and communication.

The Munich location – today

The branch of the Kreutzpointner Group in the Munich trade fair area can look forward to a series of fundamental renovations and modernizations starting this month. Extensive work is planned over a period of three months: The façade and windows as well as the roof will be renewed, the core of the building will be refurbished by restructuring the office space and PV systems will be installed on the building over a large area.

But it’s not just architecturally that the base has been given a breath of fresh air – with the installation of aesthetically pleasing glass partitions in the offices, LED lighting and modern lighting control, the complete redesign of the entrance and reception area and the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in the courtyard, the branch has been given a contemporary makeover, which is intended to make the company’s core values tangible not only in terms of technology, but also from a design perspective, both visually and haptically.

Focus on digitalized processes with KENEXOS® construction software

After planning, a total of 14 trades are involved in the three-month implementation. Despite many different contact partners and the amount of technical adjustments on site, the project can be implemented within a very tight schedule. This was made possible by centralized construction software that enables fully digitalized construction management: KENEXOS®.

KENEXOS®, a mobile construction software, is positioned as a digital hub for planning, coordination and communication throughout the entire project. The project’s assigned site manager, Nikolai Schäfer, and the client’s representative Reinhold Bartl will oversee the general renovation process accordingly.

The advantages of digital construction site apps are already visible here in the planning phase: as both project managers cannot be present on site at all times, it is still possible to coordinate the team in a targeted manner and keep an eye on daily construction progress thanks to the ticket-based task assignment within the construction software and device-independent project monitoring. The trades involved are also seamlessly connected to the central source of information and communication and therefore do not miss any important changes. Necessary consultations, approvals and notes can also be clarified directly in the construction site app within a very short time.
