Munich / Leipzig, April 30, 2025 – The Kreutzpointner Group continues to grow: On April 30, Kreutzpointner Business Software GmbH (KBS) acquires EBCsoft GmbH, an experienced software provider from Leipzig. EBCsoft GmbH specializes in digital solutions for facility management and the efficient operation of buildings.
With the acquisition, KBS is expanding its software portfolio in a targeted manner and strengthening its position as an innovative provider of project management and technical building and facility management. At the same time, the merger creates a strong competence center for the digitalization of real estate and building management.
“With EBCsoft, we are gaining an established company with a strong customer base and a high level of technical expertise. This acquisition is an important milestone in our growth strategy in the software sector,” says Christian Ehrenschwendtner, Managing Director of Kreutzpointner Business Software GmbH.
EBCsoft GmbH will retain its location in Leipzig and will be seamlessly integrated into the structures of KBS. Initially, nothing will change for customers of both companies – familiar contacts, products and services will remain in place. In the future, synergies will be used to further expand the joint range of services.
“We are delighted to now be part of the Kreutzpointner Group. This opens up new opportunities for us in terms of development, market presence and the further development of our solutions,” says Claus Biedermann, Managing Director of EBCsoft GmbH.
EBCsoft had been part of the EWERK Group, a Leipzig-based IT service provider with a focus on critical infrastructures, since 2019. The EWERK Group and its shareholder NORD HOLDING are actively supporting the transition and wish both companies continued success.
With this acquisition, Kreutzpointner Business Software GmbH is continuing its strategy of offering medium-sized and public sector customers practical software solutions with high service quality – and positioning itself as a digital pioneer in the construction and building industry.
